Dirt King Billet UCA - Warranty

Limited Lifetime Warranty – Billet Upper Control Arms
Dirt King warrants to the original purchaser that its billet upper control arms are free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product was originally installed. 

This warranty is limited to the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable. Coverage applies only to Dirt King products installed on vehicles for which they were designed and used under normal on-road and off-road operating conditions. 

Any modifications, misuse, improper installation, or use in competition (including racing, rock crawling, or similar activities) voids this warranty. For the purpose of this warranty, “racing” is defined as any contest or timed event involving vehicle performance. 

 

1-Year Limited Warranty – Wearable Components
The following components included with the control arm kit are considered wearable items and are warranted for a period of a one (1) year Limited Manufacturer Warranty from the date of purchase: 

  • Ball joints 

  • Bushings 

  • Rod ends (Heim joints) 

These items are warranted only against defects in manufacturing. Normal wear and tear is expected and is not covered. Replacements due to abuse, lack of maintenance, or external damage are excluded. 

 

Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover: 

  • Products that have been altered, modified, improperly installed, or used outside their intended purpose. 

  • Damage due to accidents, collisions, or other external impacts. 

  • Cosmetic imperfections including surface corrosion, fading, or scratches resulting from environmental exposure or off-road use. 

  • Commercial, government, or law enforcement vehicle applications. 

  • Costs related to removal, installation, freight, vehicle downtime, rental vehicles, inconvenience, or incidental/consequential damages. 

  • The anodized finish on Dirt King billet upper control arms is intended primarily for corrosion resistance and visual enhancement. While every effort is made to ensure long-lasting surface protection, anodized coatings are subject to fading or discoloration over time due to environmental exposure such as UV rays, road salts, chemicals, and moisture. 

 

Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, the following must be provided: 

  • Proof of purchase (original invoice) 

  • Photos of the defective part 

  • Description of the issue and vehicle application 

Claims may be submitted through the original point of sale or directly to Dirt King (info@dirtking.com). The original product must be returned and may be replaced at Dirt King's sole discretion. Any costs incurred for labor, shipping, or additional components needed to complete the repair are the responsibility of the customer. 

 

Other Terms
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state.
