1. Gather tools needed

a. Gather tools needed for the job:

• Torque Wrench
• Socket Wrench
• Breaker Bar
• 21MM Socket
• 21MM Wrench

2. Raise the vehicle and prepare for installation

a. Safely raise the vehicle by the frame and support the rear differential.

b. Wheel removal is optional but can aid in the installation process.

3. Remove shock

a. Remove the lower shock bolt.

4. Remove shock continued

a. Remove the upper shock bolt.

5. Remove shock continued

a. Remove the shock from the vehicle.

6. Install the Dirt King shock

a. Place the Dirt King shock into the upper shock mount and torque bolt to 85 ft-lbs.

7. Install the Dirt King shock continued

a. Install the lower shock bolt and torque to 85 ft-lbs.

8. Review your work and repeat steps on the other side of the vehicle

a. Inspect all components to ensure they are properly installed.

b. If wheels were removed, reinstall the wheels and torque the lug nuts to your wheel manufacturer’s specifications.
