Parts Included
1. Raise the vehicle and prepare for installation
a. Safely support the vehicle
b. Remove the front wheels
2. Install the Dirt King Sway Bar Kit
a. NOTE: Your Dirt King sway bar end links come pre-assembled and do not require adjustment. These links are engineered and designed to work with the Dirt King performance lower control arms DK-636904
b. Apply a small amount of anti-seize to the misalignment spacers, then insert them into the rod ends.
c. Attach one end of the rod end to the OEM sway bar using the supplied 1/2-20x2.5” hardware.
d. Secure the other end of the rod end to the lower control arm with the provided 1/2-20x2” bolt. Be careful to avoid cross-threading the bolt during the installation.
e. Repeat the process on the opposite side of the vehicle by attaching the rod end to the OEM sway bar.
f. To assist with installing the rod end to the lower control arm, use a pry bar to adjust the tension up or down on the OEM sway bar. This will help align the lower control arm to the rod end. Avoid forcing the bolt to prevent cross-threading.
3. Torque hardware
a. Torque sway bar end link hardware at OEM sway bar to 90ft lbs.
b. Torque sway bar end link hardware at Dirk King lower control arm to 90ft lbs.
4. Review your work
a. Ensure installation is done correctly and to the instructions.
5. Reinstall wheels and align vehicle.
a. Reinstall the wheels and torque the lug nuts to your wheel manufacturer’s specs.
