Parts Included
1. Raise the vehicle and prepare for installation
a. Safely support the vehicle and remove the rear wheels.
b. Remove the lower shock hardware. Do not discard.
c. Remove the upper shock hardware.
d. Remove the shock from the vehicle.

2. Install the reservoir mount
a. Right Side: Bolt the reservoir mount to the frame using the factory bolt shown in the image and torque to 35 ft lbs. Use the mount as a template to drill a 7/16" hole. Install the provided bolt through the 7/16" hole and torque the Nyloc nut to 41 ft lbs. Alternatively, if you prefer not to drill a hole, you can secure the mount using a hose clamp.
b. Left Side: Bolt the reservoir mount to the frame using the factory bolt and torque to 35 ft lbs. No drilling is required. Use the provided hardware to finish mounting the bracket to the frame. Torque the hardware to 41 ft lbs.

3. Right side factory bolt

5. Install the Dirt King shocks
a. Install the upper shock stem into the upper mount. Ensure the shock stem is centered in the mount and torque the nut to 18 ft lbs. Shocks are not side-specific.
b. Install the lower shock hardware and torque to 72 ft lbs.
c. Note: The upper shock stem must be installed and torqued before the lower mount.

6. Mount the shock reservoir
a. Install the shock reservoir into the mount. Close the clamps to secure it in place.
b. Rotate the reservoir as needed to ensure the hose is not contacting the frame.
c. Torque the socket head bolts to 12 ft lbs.

7. Review your work and repeat steps on the other side of the vehicle
a. Inspect all components to ensure they are correctly installed.
