1. Lift and secure vehicle

a. Safely secure the vehicle on a flat, level surface. Chock the front wheels and raise the rear of the vehicle. Support the frame with jack stands.

2. Remove sway bar link

a. Remove the sway bar link from the chassis.

3. Remove lower shock

a. Remove the lower shock bolt and remove the shock from the axle. The upper mount can stay in place.

4. Remove bracket

a. Remove the ABS line bracket from the axle.

5. Remove coil spring

a. Lift and slide the OE spring out of the mounting seats toward the rear of the truck.

b. NOTE: Ensure no lines, hoses, or wires are stretched upon removal or installation.

6. Install Dirt King coil spring

a. Install the new Dirt King coil spring in reverse order. It may help to have assistance with prying downward on the axle to create more room to slide the spring into the seats.

7. Install lower shock mount

a. Reinstall the lower shock mount. Torque to 72-ft lbs.

8. Install sway bar link

a. Reinstall the sway bar link and torque the nut to 55-ft lbs.

9. Install ABS line bracket

a. Install the ABS line bracket to the axle and torque to 24-ft lbs.

10. Review your work

a. Review your work and repeat the steps on the other side of the vehicle.

b. Reinstall wheels and torque to your wheel manufacturer's specifications.
