Parts Included
1. Raise the vehicle and prepare for installation
a. Safely raise and support the vehicle.
b. Remove the front wheels.
c. Starting on the driver side, remove the wheel aprons to the left and right of the upper control arm.

2. Loosen all upper control arm hardware
a. Loosen the rear pivot bolts.
b. Remove the ball joint cotter pin and castle nut.
c. Separate the upper control arm from the steering knuckle using a ball joint puller.

3. Remove the driver side upper control arm bolt
a. Remove the core support nut on the driver side.
b. Using a pry bar, lift the core support enough to allow the upper control arm bolt to clear the intercooler hose.
c. Remove the upper control arm bolt.
d. Reinstall the core support nut.

4. Install the washer onto the upper control arm bolt
a. Be sure to place the bushing washers to the outside of the bushings.

5. Install the Dirt King upper control arm
a. Insert the new supplied pivot bolt from the rear to the front, toward the core support. Apply red thread locker and torque the nut to 85 ft lbs.
b. Install the ball joint to the steering knuckle. Torque the nut to 81 ft lbs.
c. Reattach the ABS line to the control arm using the supplied line clamps.
d. Reinstall the brake line assembly bracket and torque the bolt to 24 ft lbs.
e. If you are running remote reservoir shocks, verify that the shock reservoir hose has sufficient clearance and is not pinched.
f. Reinstall the factory wheel well aprons securely to the left and right of the upper control arm. Ensure all fasteners are properly tightened.

6. Review and repeat on the other side
a. Inspect all components to ensure they are correctly installed.
b. Confirm that the ABS line has enough slack.
c. Ensure all fasteners are properly tightened.

7. Reinstall wheels and align the vehicle
a. Reinstall the wheels and torque the lug nuts to your wheel manufacturer’s specifications.
b. Have the vehicle aligned at a certified shop. If equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), ensure recalibration is performed.
