PROTECT THE PARTS THAT TAKE THE HITS
Lower control arms take direct loads from the wheel and sit in one of the most vulnerable areas of the front suspension. Our Performance Lower Control Arms replace the factory arms with internally reinforced, boxed construction designed to handle harder off-road use while maintaining predictable suspension behavior on the street.
Depending on the application, additional ground clearance, skid protection, revised shock placement, and application-specific pivot designs address the weak points of the factory setup.
BOXED CONSTRUCTION
Reinforced construction increases strength over the factory lower arm.
INTERNAL RIBBING
Internal reinforcement supports critical areas of the arm under heavy loads and impacts.
APPLICATION-SPECIFIC GEOMETRY
Shock placement, pivot design, and suspension interfaces are engineered around each vehicle platform.
SERVICEABLE DESIGN
Replaceable wear components keep the arms serviceable for long-term use.
ENGINEERED AROUND THE APPLICATION
Different trucks create different loads, geometry, and packaging constraints. The hardware should reflect that.
IMPACT MANAGEMENT
On some applications, formed surfaces and skid protection help the arm deflect off obstacles instead of catching on them. Critical areas are reinforced to handle harder contact when it happens.
OUTER PIVOT DESIGN
We select the outer pivot around the articulation, steering response, and load requirements of each platform. Depending on the application, that means a heavy-duty sealed ball joint or high-strength uniball assembly.
INNER PIVOT CONTROL
The inner pivots have to articulate freely without allowing unwanted movement under load. Bushing design is selected by application to balance suspension movement, control, and service requirements.
SHOCK + STEERING INTEGRATION
Shock placement and steering clearance are designed around the available suspension travel of each platform. Application-specific provisions help keep components working within their intended range as the suspension cycles.
BUILT FOR HARD USE
The construction, materials, and serviceable components behind our Performance Lower Control Arms.
BOXED PLATE CONSTRUCTION
A fully boxed structure provides the strength needed to handle increased loads and repeated off-road use.
INTERNALLY RIBBED
Internal reinforcement strengthens critical areas of the arm and helps protect the structure during hard impacts.
APPLICATION-SPECIFIC OUTER PIVOTS
Outer pivot hardware is selected around the load, articulation, and steering requirements of each platform.
APPLICATION-SPECIFIC BUSHINGS
Inner pivot construction is matched to the movement, control, and maintenance requirements of each application.
INTEGRATED MOUNTING PROVISIONS
Select applications include dedicated mounting provisions for bump stops, limit straps, bypass shocks, and sway bar components.
GREASEABLE + SERVICEABLE
Service ports and replaceable wear components make ongoing maintenance straightforward on applicable configurations.
GRADE 8 HARDWARE
High-strength mounting hardware is supplied on applications where required for installation.
MIG-WELDED CONSTRUCTION
Professionally MIG welded and finished with a durable black powder coat for exposed under-truck use.
